• LAND: Outward Bound Adventure Race 2012

  Project X Team

  It’s trailrunning like you’ve never seen it before! Yes, you’ll have your hashing and dashing down gullies; you’ll also have your rappelling, rock scrambling. And of course, no OWB adventure race is complete without an obligatory crawl through dark tunnels and a swim in ice-cold waters.

   

  This is not an event run by the Project X Team, but we’ve participated every year and have had great fun … Join us again for the 2012 run! Put down your name and use this event to find yourself a team of 4:)

  EVENT DETAILS:

  • Date: March 11, 2012 (Sunday)
  • Time: 7am to 4pm (including award ceremony)
  • Course: HK South Side.
  • Distance: 15 km / 20 km routes
  • Cost per team: HK$1,000 registration fee* + min donation of HK$4,000

  * Note: Register before Jan 31 and registration fee is HK750.

  ABOUT OUTWARD BOUND ADVENTURE RACE:

  “Adventure Race is an annual fund raising event of Outward Bound Hong Kong. The aim of this race is to provide an opportunity for participants to challenge themselves physically and mentally, as well as developing their teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills.This year, we hope to raise about one million, the fund raised will be used to subsidise the underprivileged youth to join Outward BoundRcourses that help to bring about their personal growth.”
